Fixing the same issue in one of my configuration files across half a dozen repositories really makes me wish there were better tools to manage them centrally. Like, do the work once and have it applied everywhere.
Does such a tool already exist? Have I just never heard about it? Pleeeeease...

вчера зашел в старьій петтинг прожект, а там файл, над которьім я карпел дни напролет, восстановлен в исходное состояние. бляяяя, сука, аж руки опустились. потом нашел промеж уточную в соседней ветке, а гит такой — не могу переключиься туда, так как файльі будут перезаписаньі. ладно, хуй с тобой, делаю чекаут файлов — 9 файлов восстановленьі 👍 переключай в ветку — не могу, говорит, они все еще отличаются. охуел, что ли, думаю — чем?? смотрю диф, а там 755 превращается в 644 т к винда. вот какого члена оно 755 у пнг файлов ваще? а теперь поиходится понижение коммитить чтобьі соседняя ветка стала доступна. #Git #дыбр #говно

- #git unlike something #GUI that integrates with file managers has no reason to get fucked up by the distro that way.

The #revset language of #Jujutsu is useful. 😄 I wanted to know what #Git tags precede¹ commit fcd16614.
jj log -r "ancestors(fcd16614) & tags()"
seems to answer that. 🎉
(Read: Commits that are ancestors of fcd16614 while also having tags (of any name) pointing to them.)
