Okay ey ich verstehe ja, warum es das Konzept von "safe directories" in #git gibt, aber könnte es nicht bitte auch das Konzept von "safe actions" geben, die alle mit Lesezugriff auf das .git ausführen können? remote (get-url), rev-parse, diff – wie können die (mit ausgeschalteten Hooks) gefährlich werden?
Aber git weigert sich einfach total, sodass ich jetzt eine komplizierte Logik drumherumbauen muss, einfach nur rauszufinden, was der aktuelle Stand dieses Repositories ist. >:(

Какой только странной фигни в https://git-scm.com/docs/git-rev-parse#_specifying_revisions нет… Например, вместо `HEAD` всё это время можно было использовать `@`. А как насчёт утащенного из vi синтаксиса для указания коммита с помощью поиска regex'ами по сообщениям коммитов?

I created a Pull Request to update MacPorts' Got to -portable-0.121 here:
https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/30995
GitHub's Continuous Integration checks passed OK, it's up to someone else with commit access to merge it.
I also submitted a story to undeadly.org but I'll leave it up to one of the other editors to look it over in case I caused any errors rather than publish it myself.
