Yould should delete any groups from gup.pe and use other services. Maybe creating an account on #Friendica with its ability to natively create and use groups/forums is also a good choice? On Friendica you can create an user account and also a group/forum account and switch between both of them to manage the group account.

Maybe I've just been lucky that Copilot is leaving me alone or maybe it's because all of my repos on GitHub are mirrors from GitLab? The reason I originally set up on GitLab was because I didn't want to use GitHub. However, all the code I've shared is related to #Friendica which is developed on GitHub so I set up the mirrors over there. But if the AI stuff becomes an issue I'll gladly nuke those mirrored repos just so I never have to use GitHub again.

I don’t know if this is due to settings, the frontend(s) or the backend, but on #friendica I see posts from the accounts I follow, and all comments on those posts from anyone, while on #gotosocial, I only see the posts from the accounts I follow, and no comments. Not ideal, as looking at the comments is a good way to find more accounts to follow.
