On vient de frôler la cata. Je reviens des courses avec un sac de pharmacie que je pose sur le comptoir avant de ranger le frais. Et j'oublie le sac. J'entends un bruit de papier froissé et c'est Muffin qui déchiquetait ma boite de Venlafaxine (my precious vu les ruptures de stock). On est passé à une gellule des urgences véto. Leider nehmen gerade die Posts im Fediverse wieder zu, die Unwissen in Bezug auf das #fediverse produzieren.
Liebe Leute, Mastodon ist nur eine Anzeigesoftware für euch, die euch das Netzwerk Fediverse als Kurznachrichtendienst gestaltet.
Mastodon ist aber nicht das fediverse sondern da gibt es noch ganz viel mehr.
Überlegt euch mal bitte, wenn ihr den Begriff in welchem Kontext benutzt.
Wollt ihr alle Menschen in diesem Netzwerk ansprechen, dann benutzt bitte auch den Begriff dazu --> #Fediverse
Wollt ihr aber nur Menschen ansprechen, die die gleiche Zugangssoftware benutzen, dann benutzt Mastodon.
Im Kontext vom Netzwerk Mastodon zu benutzen, ist diskriminierend. Denn mit dieser Wortwahl schließt ihr 50% aller Instanzen in diesem Netzwerk, und die menschen die einen anderen Zugang benutzen, aus.
Ihr wisst nicht einmal, mit welcher Software ich euch diesne post schreibe, daher wäre es anmaßend, alles auf mastodon zu beziehen.
Die meisten menschen die einen anderne Softwarezugang als Mastodon benutzen, tun dies mit Absicht, weil sie von diesme Netzwerk mehr haben wollen als immer nur an Hürden zu stoßen.
Ich behaupte ja auch nicht, das alle Leute die mir mails schreiben, Thunderbird benutzen. Ähnlich ist das hier im Fediverse
So bunt sieht das Fediverse in Wirklichkeit aus, weinn eure Software euch die Herkunft eurer Kontakte anzeigen würde.

If you want to address everyone in this network, then please use the term --> #Fediverse
However, if you only want to address people who use the same access software, then use Mastodon.
Using Mastodon in the context of the network is discriminatory. By choosing this term, you are excluding 50% of all instances in this network and the people who use a different access method.
You don't even know which software I am using to write this post, so it would be presumptuous to refer to everything as Mastodon.
Most people who use software other than Mastodon do so intentionally because they want to get more out of this network than just encountering obstacles.
