Wir sind #neuhier auf der Instanz https://katholisch.social, aber nicht neu im #Fediverse. Wir haben als „Münsterländer“ von der eher für das Erzbistum #Paderborn speziellen Instanz auf die „allgemeinere“ https://katholisch.social gewechselt, die von den katholischen Datenschützern in Bayern zur bundesweiten Nutzung angeboten wird. Einer der Vorteile hier ist die größere zulässige Textlänge, so dass unsere Nachrichten nicht mehr so häufig „gebrochen“ werden müssen und daher flüssiger lesbar sein werden.
Wir freuen uns, dass wir hier zu Gast sein dürfen und hoffen, dass wir auch andere Profile aus dem katholischen Umfeld hier treffen können!

o que hubiera un uso extendido por parte de "las masas"?
Finalmente, ¿cómo veis la presencia de cualquier tipo de empresa en el #fediverse ? ¿Podría haber problemas con la publicación de publicidad o de contenido de carácter comercial?
En este sentido, cuando veis alguna organización que os parece interesante pero que no tienen cuenta en el Fedi (seguramente por desconocimiento), ¿cómo planteáis la sugerencia?

@LenaHall Willkommen! Die Verwendung von Hash Tags wie z.B. #neuhier hilft um gesehen zu werden. Das #fediverse ist mein digitales Wohnzimmer seit mindestens 2018. Damals noch mit #gnusocial. Die Eigenständigkeit und der föderierte Ansatz sind es, was mich hierher gebracht hat, und auch hält.
Je nachdem was Deine bevorzugte Verwendung von sozialen Medien ist, lohnt es sich auch mal die anderen Zugänge zum Fediverse anzuschauen. Wenn man gerne Bilder teilt ist #pixlefed ganz gut, für Videos gibt es #peertube, für mehr Text als 500 Zeichen und von allem ein wenig gibt es #friendica und und und. Man kann durchaus auch mehrere Wege ins Fediverse kombinieren. Viel Spaß hier.

people probably thing i am a total grinch for complaining about "the internet" all day every day. but i have been on here longer than most users live and i have seen pretty much all the ways it can possibly go wrong. i am tired and just want a platform that doesn't stress me out or collapse under its own nonsense. y'all should be thankful for the #fediverse and for it staying like that y'all have to do the quality control.
