One month into my blog launch and I am seeing on G4 traffic from “flipboard/activitypub”
What does this mean?
It’s visits coming from my federated Flipboard magazine not just from inside the @Flipboard app itself.
👉 It means my content is reaching beyond Flipboard into the broader audience (Fediverse). Readers are clicking through from there.

still think the way quote tweeting works is a bad implementation of this but I think not being able to produce a chain of reblogs of some sort of here, either like how twitter/bluesky implements it or how tumblr/cohost implemented it, has pretty bad effects on discoverability, sharing, and interactions on the #fediverse
like the kind of "quote with an artwork like x" things people do on bluesky is good, it's pro-social behavior, and that's just... not something you can do here.

I'm getting my MS in #computerscience & been tasked with doing an anonymous ethics interview of someone who works in #tech , and has experienced (or an acquaintance has shared) a few ethical dilemmas on either the technical and/or personnel side
