Just so you are aware, a wide scam is going around saying that you have to 'verify' second-hand in order to 'unlock bonus features as a Mastodon user'.
Here's the facts:
There are no hidden features in **any** Mastodon server that is locked behind a need to do second-hand verification. What you see is what you get. No unlocks needed.
There are no monetization features whatsoever. It was never part of the service.
Finally, real Mastodon server admins will NEVER:
- ask for bank details or credit card numbers, or request you open a crypto wallet
- restrict your account unless you second-hand verify (the only time they'll restrict you is if you act in bad faith, that is, break the rules)
What you provide to sign up for your Mastodon server account is all the verification you need. There is no need to second-hand verify. Whoever asks you to is trying to steal your account and bank data.
Please report and block these scumbags.

Or are you confusing Mastodon for the #Fediverse, which again shows you have done nothing to try and learn about the community you joined. You just come in, refuse to learn about this new place, and pretend it's your place now, regardless of who was here before and the values of these other people.
