Hello #Fediverse
I am again in need of tech advice*, this time about a good free data recovery #software for external hard drives. Running on Windows 11.
My hold HDD is failing miserably and would love to recover anything I can before it will end its life completely (which will be soon)
As usual, thank you in advance!
*I am in a process of recovering tech and I am going back old laptop and old archives, which also means encountering a lot of tech problems

The organizers use various channels for communication and publicity. But with the exception of #email, not one of them open, free, federated, or latin american. It's all via US #bigTech #socialNetworkο»Ώs (plus one from CN), no #fediverse, no #Mastodon, no #Jabberο»Ώ/ο»Ώ#XMPP, no IRC, no Matrix. And even the email goes through mailgun, a US company π€·

Thereβs a good chance I hold a #Fediverse record of sorts, unheralded of course, for the longest family generational span. My father, my real biological Dad who reared me was born 141 years ago in 1884. He was 65 when I was born - and that makes me old as the hills as well. I admit to that. My dad lived an amazing life, which took him from Kansas farming territory to a global role in the industrial revolution. All with an 8th grade education. Curious if anyone can beat that span? #longevity #age

The account disactivated. The person who hacked my account called Sophia.
That person DMed me saying that she wants to an interview in zoom out of nowhere they want me to give remote access to my computer.
This person named Sophia got an acess to my Mastodon through changing the password
