Die #Mastowall ist das Tool, um das #Fediverse in Communitys für alle sichtbar zu machen. Es gibt eine neue Iteration der Mastowall, mit der Personen gefolgt werden können, die zu einem bestimmtem Hashtag posten.
Zur UX: "Wir haben im Fediverse Designschulden": Abweichende Designpatterns, keine eigene Typografie ("Fediverse-Schrift"), da ist noch Luft nach oben. Wie könnten wir da gewinnen? Das Fediverse hat das höchste Codingpotenzial und sollte das auch ausschöpfen.

I remain convinced that the #Fediverse is the best social media platform, both overall and in terms of my own user experience. It's deficient in some ways (e.g., protecting POC as proactively as it can/should), but that seems to be the case with all of them. God knows the others aren't killing it in that department.

Wenn das Café um die Ecke, einen Pixelfed-Account hat ist das kein Problem, jetzt schon nicht.
Aber bezahlte Werbung, Agenturen, Kampagnen etc. im Fediverse geht gar nicht.
Wenn du für etwas Werbung machen musst, ist es nur ein untrügliches Zeichen dafür das dass niemand dieses Objekt braucht. Wir brauche doch nicht mehr, sondern weniger. Das #Fediverse sollte nicht nach marktwirtschaflichen Prämissen betrieben werden.
