Vor einigen Jahren war der Punkt: Schau, wenn Du als Firma oder Institut bereits einen Server hast, kannst Du Dich durch Installation von ActivityPub anbinden, ohne Deine Daten bei einer anderen Firma speichern zu müssen. Mir scheint, dieser Gedanke sollte wieder aufgegriffen werden.

After spending more time with the Peertube app, it still feels cumbersome to navigate around. Switching between instances to see trending vids on each feels like a hassle. My sense is that it's easier for me to just subscribe to a given #Peertube channel within #Mastodon. Scrubbing within vids is also really laggy.
Having said this, I am impressed it works at all - as it's an extremely sophisticated problem domain. There was also a content creator just a little too eager to show some nudity, to my tastes. Made the experience kind of offputting. No CW protection like I've been accustomed to, here in #Mastodon, and appreciate
