@Jennifer Itโs nonsense. The system is set up in such a way that it requires a huge amount of processing power and storage space to run an instance. Itโs not like the #Fediverse where you can have small servers.
The false decentralization promise was never meant to be fulfilled.

@Larvitz Until the #Fediverse "takes back the web", how do you personally feel about integrations/bridges into other platforms like BlueSky and/or Threads? I kind of like having the option for the instances who choose to link up. But I agree with your thoughts and would like to see things swing back to the type of decentralization you mentioned.

I've tried Bandwagon.fm and I must say it was quite good experience. Good onboarding, quite simple UI, upload works fine and it seems that the payments work! I did not expect this as docs says payments will come in next version. Cool surprise!
