Let me assume that you were not aware that the Auschwitz Council was hijacked by ultraZionists (*) and that you're amplifying hasbara (considering the languare-related errors they often make, it looks like the authors of "the Auschwitz toots" are not Poles or Germans, but Israeli's - possibly employees of Yad Vashem, or volunteers working for that organisation).
🚨 It is undeniably true that 80+ years ago millions of innocent people were exterminated by Nazi's (my grandfather was a Jew; he survived WWII but his Jewish relatives were murdered by Germans). They are worth commemorating.
However:
• Is dumping their faces on the internet (every three hours another one, to be repeated after exactly one year), drawing viewers' attention for a second and making boosters feel good by what they just did, a decent and respectful way of remembrance?
• Would you yourself like to be "Facebooked" after your death? Or watch this happen to your parents, grandparents or other types of relatives?
• Isn't this similar to a beauty contest? Yet another selection process, 80+ years after their arrival at Auschwitz. After all, pre-captivity photo's of young cute girls get A LOT more boosts than those showing captives in striped uniforms, and will be seen by more internet users who look at trending topics.
• Is the time right to promote remembrance of people awfully murdered 80+ years ago, while (notably descendants) are committing atrocities which were supposed to happen "never again"?
• Even if *you* like this way of remembrance, can you imagine that it upsets some internet users? NOT because they don't want to remember, but because they loathe the way by how it's done in this case - in a quick and dirty way?

Bin grad mal wieder über ein paar interessante Zahlen in meinen diversen Newslettern gestolpert.
Jeder #Meta - Nutzer, also Nutzer/User von #Facebook, #Instagram oder #WhatsApp, generiert dem Meta Konzern pro Monat $26,73 (die Zahlen gelten für User aus den USA und Kanada, aber International sieht es wohl nicht anders aus), hauptsächlich durch Werbung.
Zum Vergleich: #Snap, #reddit und #Pinterest verdienen an ihren Usern „nur“ ca. $2,55 durch Werbung im Monat.
Instagram alleine hat in diesem Jahr $32 Milliarden durch Werbung eingenommen, das sind (zum ersten mal überhaupt) über die Hälfte aller Einnahmen des Meta Konzerns.
Die größte Gefahr, die Herr Zuckerberg übrigens für die Einnahmen seines Konzerns sieht, ist #TikTok. Was dann auch erklärt wieso Zuckerberg der mit weitem Abstand aggressivste Kämpfer in den USA für ein TikTok Verbot ist.
