Google and Facebook were successfully sued today. I am happy that these rulings are finally here, but I am upset that Twitter wasn't punished, or even mentioned in this. Twitter is just as (if not more) dangerous than Facebook or YouTube, if YouTube and Facebook can be sued like this, Twitter should have been completely dismantled by now. Unfortunately, regarding Google and Facebook, I don't see this as something that is going to change them (it will take more than this, remember that both of them are trillion dollar companies) Facebook is sued very often, and has accumulated tens of billions in fines over the years, but since they make far more money than they are fined, they still exist. The same applies to Google. It is merely the cost of doing business for them. Unless a lot more people (at least 50 million people) actually stop using Google services, or stop using Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, and whatever else Facebook owns, this won't do anything. #Google #Facebook #Enshittification
