has anyone been through the #Facebook process to appeal a disabled account?

(asking for a friend, who is (perhaps surprisingly) actually not me 🤪)
they’re trapped in a cycle where when they log in they get a page that says “go read the help doc”, but help doc says “log in & you’ll be prompted to complete an appeals form if you think the account being disabled is in error”, but they’re already logged in & no such prompt ever happens
logging out then back in doesn’t change this
all the online guides about how to complete the process talk about searching the Fb help docs for the disabled account appeal form – but they just point back to the original help doc that apparently used to include a link to the appeal form but now doesn’t
I’ve found a blog with a direct link to the appeal form as it existed at some point, but surprise! (I was not surprised) that page no longer exists… 😩

any tips from anyone who’s been through the process greatly appreciated 🙏
