Love the 'don't ruin my vibes bro, just spreading disinfo on the fedi because i find it funny' takes.

Proving my point, this place some days is every bit as ignorant as the #SocialMedia it claims to be better than.

I still love #Mastodon but i'm definitely using the mute and block buttons today. I came here because i don't want to use #Facebook or #Twitter so forgive me if i make sure my experience isn't full of that level of ignorance.

Facebook is completely infested with fake users showing up in liberal minded-threads and provoking with stock right-wing rhetoric. The profiles are all similar. Lots of pretty pictures, little or no text with them. An occasional right-wing forward. I saw one recently full of ads likely pasted from Marketplace. Some have old-old posts because they're hijacked dormant accounts. Don't know if they're AI, puppets, or both, but it's a mess.
