if i abandon #facebook, i lose contact with all ten of my college professors i still regularly interact with plus over a dozen former classmates some of whom are actually anthropologists hundreds of former comrades and random internet ne'er do wells i "collected" over the years its a big big decision to make but its been time for years just like reddit, its a cesspool and an infohazard!

Ich habe mal nachgeschaut, die Reactions drüben bei #Meta sind im Vergleich gar nicht sooo dolle... 1 Like bei #Threads, 29 Reactions und das übliche Gebashe bei #Facebook (bei 23k Followern). #Instagram sehe ich ohne Account/App nicht, bei Threads und Facebook zumindest eine Vorschau.

Overall govt statistics (or their methodology) also highlight #survivorshipBias of those from subcultures like the #rave scene who brag on #Facebook and other such places that "we got away with it back in the day" - firstly old bill weren't testing for drug use until the mid 2000s (and forbidden levels of specific #drugs were only set in 2015 in #England and 2019 in #Scotland) , and in 1990s there was a much higher level of general fatalities on the roads and less analysis of their causes by the #Police and HM #Coroner - which masked to some extent any effect #DrugDriving would have had on these figures (especially any RTCs caused by midweek sleep deprivation, which occurs some days after the actual drug use)
