Only hundreds? I warned about hundreds of fake profiles on #Facebook in 2014 and felt I was fighting that alone, as no one cared back then. Although for a few years, Facebook would heed those reports. Then they stopped and let the fakes run riot, from around 2017. This is the logical outcome.

Die Amerikaner scheinen nicht zu merken, wie lächerlich sie sich mit ihrer Bigotterie machen. Sie merken ja auch sonst allerhand nicht ... :-( Auf der einen Seite prüde und verklemmt wie eine viktorianische Jungfer, andererseits stammen die extremsten Pornos aus den USA. Das sind wohl die zwei Seiten einer Medaille. META ist eine typisch amerikanische Firma. Gewalt in Wort und Bild, rechtsradikale Propaganda, Hasspostings: alles erlaubt und durch "Free Speech" (Redefreiheit) geschützt. Aber wehe, irgendwo ist ein Stücken 'zu viel' nackte Haut zu sehen! Dann schlägt der Zensur-Hammer aber unerbittlich zu.

Es ist kaum zu fassen: Während digitale Volkshetze auf diesen Plattformen durch die Algorithmen befeuert wird, schränkt Meta nun den Begriff "Antifa" ein. 🤮
Ich bin so froh, Meta den Rücken gekehrt zu haben. Wie oft habe ich dort versucht, gegen absurden Hass und Desinformation anzukämpfen – etwa bösartige Behauptung gegen Trans-Frauen. Alles vergebene Liebesmüh auf einer Plattform, die von Spaltung und Antipathie lebt.
