Finally did the first step to delete all my Meta accounts as well as my TikTok Account.

It took way to long for the to take that step since I wanted to stay in touch with some creators but yesterday I just had enough.

Took nearly one hour to delete a few accounts since Meta really doesn't want you to escape but now it's done.

X/Twitter will be the next thing I delete, but this won't happen that soon in time.

To be clear, I did not do this because I needed a social detox but just for privacy.

The same reason I unplugged my Alexa years ago and why I choose privacy focused solutions wherever I can.

If you want to learn the hard truth about big tech, read the boot Privacy is power!

It's an awesome book that teached me a lot of things while I even had a good understanding of those topics.

Free yourself and let's make protest for a better internet.

Yes, facebook will punish you for attempt to sign up. Especially if you selected to sign up without mobile phone number. And my brand new account without phone number has been suspended like within hour after creation. They required video selfie to prove me I am not a robot. I guess it is possible to trick this if you need to, when you have "state actor" scale of resources.
