@andrewnez interesting to see #Drupal mentioned when Composer/Packagist already provides a layer of abstraction that doesn't lock module development to Drupal.org and addional discovery endpoints can already be added to the in CMS Project Browser.

I must admin that the SDC Display module is coming along nicely, and is more fully-featured than I was anticipating. However, I still wish we nailed this stuff down before merging #SingleDirectoryComponents into #Drupal core.
