I'm assuming it is because #docker enables forwarding, which in turn stops the kernel from accepting route advertisements.

Here's a little story of how I turned a 5 line Docker file into a 1.5TB giant ass Time Machine sparse file backup nightmare that was only going to get worse at 1.5TB at a time *PER* container!...
