If you're using postgres:latest docker image or upgraded to Postgres 18, you should know that the mount point has changed. Instead of /var/lib/postgresql/data, you need to mount to /var/lib/postgresql.

Why does podman/docker logs default to show entries from seemingly the beginning of the universe, instead of something like "the last 500 entries"?
Also, maybe it could use a pager when the output is above a certain length, excepting when its being piped, or even default to "--follow". #podman #docker

Been testing out a 1-click deployments on Dokploy for applications I'm unfamiliar with, and ohmygod I haven't had this much fun in weeks, WEEKS.
Some are useful, some are not, some get placed on the backlog for future projects, some do not.
The learning process of figuring this out and finding ways to apply it, is the essence of what got me into tech

Ich habe eigene VMs im Netz, spiele mit #Docker und #Podman rum. Code ein wenig mit #Python rum, bin aber zu doof die Webseiten heutiger Dienste zu bedienen.
Überall scheiß KI Hilfen, die dann auch nicht bei dem Problem helfen können. Es ist so grausam ;)
Und auf dem Handy wird das Ganze dann noch schlimmer..
