@eclairwolf fully agree, but would say Pi 5 with an NVMe, not Pi 3. And #Docker wasn't needed. Bonus rizz if it's a 500+ with the mechanical switches

I recently encountered the SAP HANA database 🧠 – a powerful in-memory database used by large enterprises for real-time data analysis.
I recorded my experience in a guide on how to get SAP HANA up and running and how to start working with it:

Dockpeek 1.6.5 adds container counts, image prune, and registry links
The update introduces an image prune option to remove unused Docker images and free up disk space. Dockpeek1.6.5 now displays counts for running, unhealthy, exited, and paused containers, giving users a clearer overview of their Docker environment.
I spent the weekend making a fun DevOps pipeline because I felt like it and am now quite pleased.
I'm hosting gitea, n8n and docker registry in my lab. I now have a webhook in gitea for certain repos so that when I push to them, it triggers n8n to pull the repo and build the dockerfile. This image is then pushed to the registry, and watchtower will pull it when it runs.
Naturally have all my own DNS things for these app web guis which go through nginx. All of this is in proxmox LXC containers as well because why not stack vertically for ages.

Those 2 articles help me a lot to move from #docker to #rootless #podman

FreeBSD and Linux both shine in different ways.
Where Linux has Docker, FreeBSD had Jails first.
Bastille bridges that history into modern workflows.
Trying to work out if it's possible to configure Containerd to set (or the equivalent of) the `--init` flag on container run so `tini` hosts PID 1 and signal handling works properly.
It looks like `--init` does some magic - I can see runc has some PID/FD parameters, but it loooks like CRI doesn't have an escape hatch for any say, arbitrary arguments - even if I did work out the magic.
Containerd config is even more sparse on the CRI (or at least, the man page is)
https://github.com/containerd/containerd/blob/main/docs/man/containerd-config.toml.5.md
I really don't want to have to insist that every damn Dockerfile bundles `tini` and sets `ENTRYPOINT`.
