But at least IBM arranged for that head-to-head match with Garry Kasparov. It's my opinion that they basically cheated and they sure acted like they'd committed a crime after they'd gotten the result they wanted, i.e. Kasparov's defeat. But at least they honored the premise of an honorable, head-to-head contest.
So...where's the #ChatGPT vs. Human Genius showdown? Why have they not done this? After all, the makers and promoters of these things all claim to be the world's most intelligent human beings, with an optimal IQ and good genes and everything.
I can think of a few answers to my own question but I'll close with an obvious one: these clowns don't want their own claims of extreme intelligence to be inspected too closely.
