I think I'll keep using the free tier of #chatgpt
I want this #ai bubble to pop and see what happens.
If ads are too annoying though (hopefully ad blockers will work), I'll delete my account and use something like duck.ai #duckduckgo
It still uses a free model ChatGPT and it is more privacy friendly.

I'm trying out #Codex since the online #ChatGPT interface kept lagging and confabulating in long co-coding sessions. I didn't expect it to directly edit my code when prompting it, and naturally it promptly screwed up my app and created many errors. The proverbial running of the AI bulls in a China shop. Still, once I got the hang of wrangling it, it became less of a coding rodeo clown show and turned into a much smoother experience, much better than bouncing between #Xcode and a browser!

I'm shocked how bad #gemini fails at basic tasks like adding meetings to your Google calendar despite the native/deep integration it should have. I spent about 40 minutes over 6-7 different attempts to have it create a calendar appointment for each day at the time of the sunset in Hawaii. It wouldn't create a .ics, csv to import, and got stuck in a loop asking me if it should add them in the chat. #chatgpt created a .ics file on the first try that I could import into Google Calendar... #whhhhy
