A study finds ChatGPT's premium and default models cite almost entirely different sources when searching the web. Premium GPT-5.4 used site: operators in 156 of 423 queries and cited brand websites 56% of the time, while default GPT-5.3 cited third-party articles 32% of the time. Only 7% of sources overlapped between models. For marketers, this means brand visibility in AI search may depend heavily on which model users have access to. searchenginejournal.com/chatgp #Marketing #Strategy #AI #ChatGPT

Map of Europe showing regional words for “hare.” Each country/region is colored and labeled with its local term (e.g., English “hare,” French “lièvre,” Spanish “liebre,” German “Hase,” Polish “zając,” Turkish “tavşan,” Finnish “jänis”). A legend links colors to language families such as Proto-Germanic, Latin, Slavic, Turkic, Semitic, and Uralic roots. Notes highlight etymology and related meanings.

I would like to thank the nascent "AI" industry for their significant contributions to all manner of artistic and creative endeavours in today's society: writing, coding, art, music, and everything else. [1]

Because they have single-handedly created entire new markets for all of these things - new categories such as "writing with guaranteed no AI", "coding with guaranteed no AI", "art with guaranteed no AI", "music with guaranteed no AI", etc. Without them, these whole classes of creative output would simply not exist.

[1] They are also innovating in the world of financial and investor fraud, but I'm not considering those areas in this post.

OpenAI is developing its own GitHub-like code platform after repeated GitHub outages disrupted internal engineering work 🧩.

If offered commercially, it could deepen dependence on OpenAI’s stack while raising fresh questions about developer lock-in, code privacy, and competition with major investors like Microsoft 🔒.
