Here is an excellent post from Reddit's Ancient Coins forum about hallmarks of un-acknowledged LLM use in "research."
Not just for numismatists -- this is broadly applicable to, eg, school papers written with ChatGPT. Examples include pandering to the prompter's perceived biases, highly specific claims with vague or no evidence, and unwarranted certainty.
