But if you replace professionals (in customer support, social services, medicine, or whatever) with cheap trained monkeys who don’t already know what they’re asking about, you can’t know when AI gets it wrong, and in many workplaces that will cost time, money, and lives

That was delightful! I described the password layout to #ChatGPT that my team wanted me to use. Diceware, but with limits and particulars. So I described it to ChatGPT, it thought for 10 seconds, spit out a Python script. I copied it out, pasted it in to a nano screen, made it executable, downloaded the #EFF large wordlist, used awk and sed to trim it the way I want, and now I have a quick little command to pump out as many random passwords as I need to set up new users. Damn, so #happy!
