So a customer contacted me: "Your thermocouples are bad. I am building a kiln and it way overheated."
We worked through it and found he wired them wrong.
Then: "your type N thermocouple is bad, it reads 200 degrees low. The Type K agrees with my other thermometer"
So how are you reading them? "I use a Pi, two MAX31856 thermocouple readers from adafruit..." Sends graph.
I analyzed the graph and found that the offset is 220 degrees. 1/n

I asked #Perplexity, #Gemini, and #ChatGPT+ to do a #DeepDive on the current state of #cryptocurrency #payment processors to get around the #censorship that #Visa and #MasterCard are imposing on #ContentCreators for creating #legal works.

It's not a direct 1-for-1 comparison because #ChatGPT asked me some clarifying questions that Perplexity nor Gemini did. But it's close.
I find the methodologies between the three the most fascinating part to be honest. Also, ChatGPT definitely took the longest to research and write up its findings by far! Like 3x - 4x as along as Gemini & Perplexity combined! ;-)

I actually had a valid use for our company’s bespoke version of ChatGPT yesterday (summarize 7 articles each with one sentence) so I thought I’d try it out.
Its writing was appalling, which shouldn’t be surprising given it was trained on the Internet at large: hyperbolic, formulaic, and full of empty adjectives. I rewrote everything it gave me. #ai #chatGPT
