Choć Apple długo krytykowano za zbyt wolny rozwój w dziedzinie sztucznej inteligencji, najnowsze raporty pokazują, że firma może okazać się jednym z głównych wygranych. Powód? Kontrola nad własnym ekosystemem i finansowa ostrożność.
Według doniesień, Apple i Google są blisko sfinalizowania umowy dotyczącej nowej wersji Siri opartej na wspólnym modelu AI, który trafi do iOS 26.4. Apple zapłaci za to zaledwie około 1 miliarda dolarów rocznie — znacznie mniej niż 20 mld, które Google wydaje za bycie domyślną wyszukiwarką w Safari.
Ta współpraca pokazuje, że Apple potrafi korzystać z gotowych rozwiązań, unikając kosztownego wyścigu zbrojeń w AI. Showing only user inputs, the chats appeared to be from unwitting people prompting a chatbot to help solve relationship or business problems, who likely expected those conversations would remain private.
