I finally blocked the bluesky bridge server. Not that I care about seeing stuff, but I got tired of wanting to reply to a post and realizing they would never see it. They probably don’t even know they are being copied here.

Is it just me? Ever since Mike Masnick went all-in on Bluesky, I just have no desire whatsoever to read anything at (or from) Techdirt.
It's like, Bluesky is obviously in its "gateway drug" period, but you can already see the enshittification coming (and bits are here, with them welcoming fascism and silencing dissent), and Masnick still cheerleading for it being good and proper and wholesome and just what the 'net needs just fills me with rage.
He's supposed to have more sense than that.

So… Bluesky just updated the app’s logo, and to me, I almost didn’t notice it.
That was, until I noticed the background is bluer, and the butterfly now has edge gradients.
I miss that place. That was where I had the most followers. I will never forgive Tate Reeves for making Bluesky pull out of MS.

Currently having a weird problem with my Bluesky account seemingly related to Bluesky not recognizing activity from a Blacksky PDS. People curious about atproto federation. You can see the linked-to post using the reddwarf.app app view, but you can’t see it using the bsky.app app view, and nobody on Bluesky can see or interact with this post.
