I only listen to #indie #music from fedi artists who only use #Bandcamp or #Mirlo, i don't use #spotify and anyone who does is evil, i only use #linux, #windows users are idiots, screw all those who share adult #nsfw content here they are evil too, unless they are producing it themselves. Don't bridge your account to #bluesky you suck if you do.

Turns out bridging my #Mastodon / #Fedi account to #Bluesky makes a lot of sense.
Had my #music discovery project there and many liked it. Moved it to Mastodon and apparently no one here knows how to be creative with a Linktree and using hashtags so it's just lost on folks here.
But folks are enjoying my music posts on Bluesky again after i moved it all here and bridged my account.
I guess the music fans mostly went to Bluesky and didn't come back like i did.

In case you missed it, Mastodon treasure @hildabast has published a great article describing the current situation with Mastodon and #Bluesky and the relative merits of each.
What is particularly nice about this detailed essay is the conservative and learned approach she takes, and the honesty with which she recognizes deficiencies in both platforms. She also addresses how Mastodon's recent developments in usability are changing this equation.

@hildabast @PLOS I'm #transgender and left #Bluesky after 2 years there earlier this month. I've used the #fediverse in some capacity since 2017 and love it. I went to Bluesky to see #ATProto progress, tried #Blacksky servers which failed miserably for me and a ton of other users in reliability (Couldn't post, blank feeds).
So now i'm back here but bridged to follow some Bluesky accounts. I think if more accounts there bridge that will help people feel more inclined to come back.
