For example, the people at Bluesky chose not to ban Whitehouse accounts that posted a video of people being murdered and bragged about it. They chose to verify an ICE account rather than banning it.
These outcomes didn't happen by accident, moderation was built this way: choice by choice.

Bluesky公式アカウントは昨年末にも日本語で投稿してたけど、今回は公式ブログ記事も日本語化されてる(英語記事のURL末尾に"-jp"の付いたページが別途用意されてる)。
昨年末の投稿は、Blueskyの日本語ユーザーに向けて「お正月フィード」を紹介するものだった。今回のブログ記事は、SNSやインターネット全体への問題提起と、それに対するBlueskyの見解や取り組みを共有するもの。
既にBlueskyを使っているユーザーに限らず、より多くの日本語話者にBlueskyの考え方を伝えたいという思いが感じられる。ビジネス的な思惑もあるだろうけど、多言語対応や対外発信を進める姿勢は支持したい。

Nevýhodou bridgování Mastodon do Bluesky je, když člověk na druhé straně nemá bridge zapnutý. Pak mi chodí notifikace tohoto typu a jsem holt línej se proklikávat na Bluesky a odpovídat tam. (ano, už jsem dal mute, ale jde mi o princip)
Pokud tedy tam na "druhé straně" toto čtete, zasledujte "Bridgy fed for the Fediverse", díky!

It is not really a technical matter. It is a mindset. It's the same reason all these people use #Bluesky now. They do not connect their actions with their words. They do not comprehend, or choose to ignore, that facilitating their opposition through their platform choice to is contrary to their purpose.
The opposition understands this very well.
The inability of the left to make good tactical decisions about media is a critical weakness.
