Der zweite #did - da muß ich doch … Als #Apple User (Betreutes Wohnen, nennt es mein Sohn) schwer. Aber wenn #Linux auf dem M4 läuft, fange ich an. Beim #iPhone wird das so nicht gehen. Also nach dem OS-Versorgungsende kein iPhone mehr kaufen.

#Twitter war schön. Dann immer nervigere Werbung. Als dann die Timeline nicht mehr auf “Folge” einstellbar war, war Schluß. Auf meinem 1st-Hobby Account nur noch Links in’s #Fediversum. Mein größter SM-Fehler war es, eine Hobby-Gruppe bei #Facebook zu starten. Wie der Zauberlehrling mit den Besen werde ich das nicht mehr los. Aber auch da poste ich oft nur noch Links. Ebenso in meinen anderen SM Hobby Accounts (#Bluesky, #Threads, … Bei #WSocial Mal sehen)
Für heute habe ich mir #Youtube vor genommen. Hochladen ist #dudit, aber das Ansehen! Das ist richtig fies, die Timeline schafft es immer mal wieder, mich zu fesseln. Am Besten, es gibt keine Grund Youtube zu starten. Und da sind wir bei der Follow-Klocke. Wenn die Videos nun mal sonst nirgends zu sehen sind? Auf dem iPad gibt es auch keine Werbefreimach-App.
Bei meinen Gefolgten sind einige aus den Öffentlichen, die doch gefälligst ihr Material in der Mediathek ablegen sollten. Da fehlt dann wieder die "Folgen-App”. Sollte technisch möglich sein, muß nur mal einer machen |-)

The fediverse is clearly missing the single identity layer that #BlueSky provides.
Really happy that we’re starting to see some of it appear. Let’s hope the quality will be there (BS for example is not that great if you want to own your identity)
I’m also intrigued if it will include the data storage part and how reusable it will be for the Mastodon case.

This is a test post to see how things like formatting and federation work. I want to see how this post looks in Wordpress, Mastodon, and BlueSky. I'm rambling to exceed BlueSky's silly character limit so I can see how it handles that. There are several sizes of photograph to check out the media handling, and more than the four Mastodon knows what to do with.
So there's a notice that extra media won't show on Mastodon, but it allows the upload here. That's good. I don't like that there's no formatting here. A full rich text editor might be a bit heavyweight, but maybe Markdown? Markdown degrades gracefully for software that doesn't support it; humans can tell that this is meant to be emphasized without any software help. Inline images would also be a big plus, and Markdown can provide them.
