Seeing multiple people comment that bsky is requiring age verification* today, so they must have rolled it out to new areas today. Presumably the outage is related. It would be too coincidental if not.

Ah, I see the butterfly website has been experiencing outages since 15:00.
But according to my Feedbin feed, a few posts have been getting through. The Brennan Center, for one.
I'm immediately suspicious there's politically motivated sabotage, but tech stuff does just happen, too.
