I listed to a selfhosted podcast where it was raised that #plex slowly starting to gather information about users, and only alternative @jellyfin is still lacking the option to share catalog user friendly way. Which made me think - is there a way to extend #activitypub protocol and use #fediverse to implement this feature 🤔

I really like this idea for an #ActivityPub platform, and I do recall a site which had presentations where the slide/graphic included a sound file which played once, then moved to the next slide (with button controls, too.)
I do not remember either the site or the software name; it may have been Presentation.

の話をするとき、つい「マニアックな SNS やってまして〜」みたいな感じで話してしまう自分がいるんだけど、そう言ってしまいがちな自分に対して最近「別にそんなに過度に知名度に配慮しなくても良いよな」という気持ちになってきている。
「ほとんど知られてないけど、こちとらオープンスターンダード 
だし！」みたいな気持ちも心の奥底にはあるけど、そもそもオープンスタンダードという事の重要性も世の中的には「だからなに？」っていうひともいるだろうし、そういう思想強めなことを主張したいわけではなくて、
マジョリティーかマイノリティーか、ということをわざわざ自分のほうから気にすることになんの意味があるのか、そんなことを気にする必要はないんじゃないか、という気持ちになってきている、という感じ。

On stage now, @django — arguing for widespread adoption of ActivityPub client-server (C2S) protocol.
I agree with him.
At the very least, to make extension of ActivityPub through JSON-LD namespaces possible.
But also to decouple Fediverse client development from Fediverse server development.

Ho voluto dedicare un articolo al Fediverso:
per chi vuole capirlo meglio,
per chi vorrebbe proporlo ai propri contatti senza doverlo spiegare ogni volta,
e per chi non lo conosce affatto.
Un altro modo di stare sui #social è possibile.
Senza algoritmi che decidono cosa puoi vedere e cosa no.
