Unterwegs gibt es ausreichend Schnelllader in Frankreich und die Pyrenäen sollten auch kein Problem darstellen.

Starring Gene Hackman and Roy Scheider, the 1971 uber-classic "The French Connection" is currently free in the U.S. on #YouTube Movies and TV. This is AFAIK the first time it has been on there -- as of yesterday there were still relatively few comments, all very recent. Telling the more or less true story of a pair of New York City detectives on the trail of an enormous heroin shipment (from France, thus the name), it is groundbreaking in many ways. Largely shot on location in NYC, it shows an amazing snapshot of the city in the early 70s. The infamous chase scene where Hackman is trying to keep up with an elevated train in a car, was, apparently, not approved by the city, so the story is that they just shot it anyway. The car collision that occurs during the sequence apparently involved an innocent party.
Though this video presents no indication that it has been edited from the original theatrical release, it is missing the entire short scene where one detective tells the other to "never trust a [N-word]." Various prints of this film either include or don't include this sequence -- a matter of some controversy among film historians and others.
