Anyone following the controversy with uBlock Origin, or any other content blocking solutions which uses the same standard filter lists, may be aware of the issues with view watching/viewing scripting being blocked. This apparently prevents YouTube from accurately reporting views of a specific episode or video.
I've added the following to my Trusted Sites list in uBlock Origin in an attempt to mitigate this issue:

This should allow the relevant scripting to run while the other questionable tracking and privacy invading content is blocked. At least it seems to be working here 🤷♂️
Before anyone suggests this might not be legit, for any number of reasons, please be aware that I subscribe to YouTube Premium ( so I have a Google/YouTube Account) and support a number of favourite creators directly via Patreon and with direct purchases from those channels😉
Your opinions about content blocking are your own, and for myself I value blocking questionable content from being used/rendered/displayed on my personal devices.
