I went on a hike in Saguaro National Park – Rincon District this morning. It was a beautiful hike, and for the most part it was quite peaceful. I didn’t hike as far as I originally intended; I was running out of steam at mile five and I knew it was another four miles to get back to the car, so I turned around early.

As I was approaching the trailhead, a couple walked by. I said my customary ‘hello’ and they were pleasant in return. As the woman walked by, she smiled and said, ”You’re a YouTube and I love your channel!”.

This made my day.

I said, “why thank you, I appreciate that very much.”

I have been feeling rather down around my videography over the past couple of weeks, but this sparked some joy in me. I’m not looking for recognition, but hearing that someone is actually enjoying my content made my day.

To celebrate, enjoy this moment of zen. Capturing this was a peaceful experience for me.
