Ok folks, I just spent 3 hours in effing #WordPress instance changing whooping 9 instances of a text. Spread across 6 different ways how it was done.
And yes, your WP project is / will be exactly the same mess eventually once it hits the needs of a real world.

Looks like wordpress tried to send emails using an gmail account, which resulted in LOTS of email denied messaged from gmail.
Disabled all emails from wordpress now.
And asked barracuda to please please unblock me...
