Is it just me or is it embarrassing that added a whole new "full site editing” modality to customize themes and it has no built-in support for honoring dark/light mode based on browser preference?

What a missed opportunity. I guess they can put it in the mode they make us switch to in the 2030s.

(I'm trying out FSE for the first time. Shockingly powerful, but when something is missing, you sure feel it.)

Ran into the shared terms issue again on #WordPress. I haven't seen that in a long time. But the import plugin that we use for one specific site might have caused the problem... or it was longstanding and we just noticed it last week (on Friday... at 5:00).

But either way, if you have taxonomies with the same name but different types on a Wordpress that has been continually updated since the 2.0 days, things can get a little weird.

Luckily, it isn't proprietary (yet) and you also have the ability to go in and fix it!
