TIL about `<img sizes=auto>`, which solves my biggest annoyance with WordPress Blocks, and seems to work already, well -- where it's supported & when WP actually applies it. I have one case where it non-trivially isn't, and I'm not sure if the code is worth drilling down...

Unbelievable! MiniOrange just did it again. Yet another time, they removed a plugin from the WordPress repo instead of patching it, leaving a CVSS 8.1 vulnerability on 200 sites.
MiniOrange use code obfuscation to “prevent reverse-engineering” of their open-source plugins!? Maybe there’s another reason…

Der Webhoster all-inkl.com hat gerade einen Virenalarm an Kunden geschickt, die WordPress und das Plugin WP-Optimize installiert haben.
Don't Panic!
Ich werden gleich den Support kontaktieren, denn das ist wahrscheinlich ein falscher Alarm.
Die betroffene Datei wird von Bjørn Rosell (aka rosell-dk) in aller Öffentlichkeit entwickelt und enthält die gleichen Daten wie bei mir auf dem Webspace.

Unsere Logs sind auch voll mit Requests auf `podlove_image_cache_url`.
Zum Glück ist das Vorgehen relativ dumm, sodass nichts passiert ist.
Ground Rule: Nichts im WordPress-Directory darf von PHP-FPM (oder Apache + mod_php oder was immer man nutzt) aus beschreibbar sein, ausgenommen das Upload-Directory in wp-content sowie ggf. noch Cache-Directories.
Und in diesen Directories darf keinen PHP ausgeführt werden.
Damit hat man 99% der Angriffe dieser Art geerdet. 1/2
