Ein schwerwiegender Fehler (CVE‑2026‑1357) im WordPress‑Plugin WPvivid Backup & Migration ermöglicht Angreifern das Hochladen beliebiger Dateien und damit die komplette Übernahme einer Website. Der Bug betrifft alle Versionen bis 0.9.123 und hat eine CVSS‑Bewertung von 9,8 (kritisch). Ein Update auf Version 0.9.124 (veröffentlicht 28. Januar 2026) behebt das Problem.
