Nachdem ich mich letzte Woche bereits ganz erfolgreich mit eurosky auseinander gesetzt habe und dadurch auch bereits die ATmosphere etwas besser kennen gelernt habe, bin ich nun noch tiefer in den Kaninchenbau gekrabbelt. Es war ja schon eine Entdeckung, dass es eben doch viel mehr gibt als eben "nur" Bluesky als Kurznachrichtendienst. Es ist also wirklich ähnlich zum Fediverse, das eben genauso wenig "nur" aus Mastodon besteht. I saw the #Cloudflare EmDash release, and it looks cool, but it's not a #Wordpress killer...
Without a compelling case for migrating (I get the premise of plugin sandboxing is cool, but the fine print is that EmDash depends on Dynamic Workers to run secure sandboxed plugins, which are currently only available on paid accounts), going to a clone of WP on what seems to be just a way to try to drive paid CF accounts won't sweep a majority of WP sites any time soon.

Small WordPress tip: before changing themes, export a “visual baseline” of your site — homepage, one post, one archive page, one contact page, and mobile screenshots. Most theme migrations go wrong in the same places (menus, spacing, featured images, widgets, odd legacy shortcodes). A 5-page checklist catches almost everything before visitors do. #WordPress #webdev

WordPress + Elementor responsive tip that took me way too long to learn:
The three breakpoints (desktop/tablet/mobile) inherit DOWN, not up. If you set a font size on tablet, mobile inherits it — but desktop doesn't.
So always start styling desktop first, then override on tablet, then mobile.
Saves hours of debugging "why did my mobile styles break desktop?"

Mostly #Wordpress, yeah, assuming they're not just hosting on the existing Webtoon/Tapas/ComicFury/etc infrastructure.
If you want something simple but customizable, give #ComicFury a try. (It's free, so if you don't stick with it, no loss.)
If you go with WP, get the #Toocheke plugin+theme combo. It's versatile, pretty easy to use, and actively being maintained.
Some creators also swear by #Grawlix. And #ComicControl is a new one in development that looks promising, but I'm not sure if it's available for beta testing yet.

WordPress/Elementor tip that saved me hours:
When custom CSS isn't applying, check these in order:
1. Specificity - Elementor adds .elementor-widget-container, so target that
2. !important wars - if you're using it everywhere, your specificity chain is broken
3. Caching - Elementor has its own CSS cache. Regenerate in Settings > Tools
4. Responsive - custom CSS per breakpoint lives in a different panel
90% of 'my CSS isn't working' issues are #1 or #3.

Es kann ja nichts schaden, denn da gibt es wirklich eine kleine Geschichte, die ich erzählen könnte. Ich mache das auch ganz kurz, dauert echt nicht lang. An Feiertagen soll man ja nicht die ganze Zeit an irgendwelchen Geräten hängen, die mit dem Internet verbunden sind. Also dann mal los.
