Daniela Santanchè è uscita dal gruppo. A quattro giorni dalle dimissioni – tribolate – dal governo, la ministra del Turismo nelle ultime ore ha abbandonato la chat dei ministri dell’esecutivo di Giorgia Meloni. Nel fine settimana, come rivelato dall’agenzia Dire, si era creato qualche imbarazzo all’interno del governo per la sua presenza nel gruppo Whatsapp “Consiglio dei ministri” che aveva portato diversi suoi colleghi a non scrivere più. Alla fine, una volta trapelata la notizia, Santanchè ha abbandonato la chat.
Nella chat di governo ci sono i ministri e la premier Meloni e serve soprattutto per organizzarsi sui Consigli dei ministri. Sabato Santanchè, a due giorni dalle dimissioni dopo la sconfitta referendaria, era ancora nella chat provocando qualche imbarazzo tra i colleghi. Anche per il suo status whatsapp in contraddizione con il suo passo indietro da ministra del Turismo: “A lavoro”. Non è chiaro se l’ex ministra fosse rimasta nel gruppo volutamente o per distrazione.
Alla fine, però, nel fine settimana, una volta uscita la notizia, Santanchè ha abbandonato la chat: non potrà più leggere cosa scrivono i suoi ex colleghi di governo. Presto arriverà un nuovo membro, il suo sostituto: per il momento, infatti, la premier Meloni ha preso l’interim ma non sembra intenzionata di tenere a lungo le deleghe e già nei prossimi giorni potrebbe nominare un ministro del Turismo.
Una cosa, però, è certa: Santanchè ha lasciato la chat senza mandare un saluto o un messaggio di arrivederci ai colleghi di governo, come invece aveva fatto il suo predecessore Gennaro Sangiuliano dopo il passo indietro da ministro della Cultura nel settembre 2024. Un altro segnale delle tensioni tra l’ex ministra e il governo di cui faceva parte. In un video pubblicato sui social ha ringraziato i suoi collaboratori al ministero facendo dei riferimenti velati: “Mi ricorderò di ognuna di queste persone, perché la vita è lunga e bisogna sempre ricordarsi di essere insieme, di essere una squadra”, ha detto Santanchè.

Daniela Santanchè has left the group. Four days after the tumultuous resignation from the government, the Minister of Tourism has abandoned the chat with the executive’s ministers in the past few hours. Over the weekend, as revealed by the agency Dire, there had been some embarrassment within the government due to her presence in the “Council of Ministers” WhatsApp group, which had led several of her colleagues to stop writing. Ultimately, after the news leaked, Santanchè left the chat.
The government chat includes the ministers and the Prime Minister Meloni and is mainly used to organize meetings of the Council of Ministers. On Saturday, two days after the defeat in the referendum, Santanchè was still in the chat, causing some embarrassment among her colleagues. Also for her WhatsApp status contradicting her step back as Minister of Tourism: “At work.” It is not clear whether the former minister had remained in the group deliberately or by mistake.
Ultimately, however, over the weekend, after the news broke, Santanchè left the chat: she will no longer be able to read what her former government colleagues are writing. A new member will soon arrive, her replacement: for the moment, however, the Prime Minister Meloni has taken over the interim role but does not seem intent on holding the portfolios for long, and she could already appoint a Minister of Tourism in the next few days.
One thing, however, is certain: Santanchè left the chat without saying goodbye or sending a farewell message to her government colleagues, unlike her predecessor Gennaro Sangiuliano after his step back as Minister of Culture in September 2024. Another sign of the tensions between the former minister and the government she was part of. In a video published on social media, she thanked her ministry collaborators, making veiled references: “I will remember each of these people, because life is long and you always have to remember to be together, to be a team,” said Santanchè.
