To backup #iphone #whatsapp to #icloud my uncle's phone needs 19 Gb free storage space. The phone has 64 Gb storage only and 1.54 Gb free. The icloud has 100 Gb free. Totally stuck... how can I back up the whatsapp chats from the iphone ?? Manually deleting 20 Gb off the phone is not an option: it would take eons. Thanks for any help. Am offloading as many apps as we dare.... but what a totally messed up process #Apple has here

#Whatsapp vielä käytössä koska sitä joutuu käyttämään useammassa yhteydessä. Mut estin kaiken mahdollisen, ei ilmoituksia, ei pääsyä kuviin tai kontakteihin, ei netin taustakäyttöä. Kerran päivässä pitänee kuitenkin tarkistaa viestit. Mietin että pitäiskö piruuttaan ruveta harrastustoimintojen vetäjäksi niin ite vaan valitsis työkalut. Tyyliin ”jatkossa me käytetään pikaviestin.fi ja sähköpostia viestimiseen”

Die ganzen alternativen Messenger sind sehr interessant. Ich habe Skred und Jami ausprobiert, beides Punk zu Punkt Messenger.
Letztenendes nutzen es zu wenige Kontakte. Und die sich an #WhatsApp stören, verteilen sich auf viele andere Systeme.
Ich warte zuerst auf die Interoperabilität. Das ist für mich der einzig praktikable Weg komplett weg von Meta.
