To clarify here, you never take an existing coast guard frigate design and turn it into an military frigate but always the other way around, like China is doing because that way you retain the military requirements in the frigate while cutting cost.
Anyway the entire FF(X) program is a joke and will become part of the cancellation class in USN history as soon as someone that does not have shit for brains within the DoD, the U.S Navy and the administration takes office. #USA

During wartime the equipment onboard the Type 301 Coast Guard vessel can easily be replaced, in short amount of time and the Type 301 turned into an Type 054A frigate for the Navy.
In 2025 the U.S cancelled it's Constellation-class frigate program after spending several billions of American tax payers hard earned money on it & replaced it with FF(X),an class based on the US Coast Guard’s frigate, which is something you never do in ship design so it's destined for cost overruns and delays #USA

Die gewapende man die gisteren bij het Correspondents Dinner was binnengedrongen hè, is het niet een beetje raar dat die niet neergeschoten is? Normaalgesproken wordt dit soort gasten direct omgelegd door de beveiliging.
