I'm somewhat older and it always puzzled me the USA was so down on #Cuba, but then again.
The #USA always seems most against the countries that embarrass it, with the exception of #vietnam
There's a whole list: #nkorea #nicaragua #brazil (at times.)
And I did read a story that the US attitude to #france was partly born out of the #french refusing to come under the umbrella and making their own #weapons
I think part of it's born from failing to curtail the real threats like #China cos despite what the USA says it's the economic threat #China poses that's the real one.
And the US is still losing that #war. I think trump was seriously wrong footed by the way China fought back - restricting rare earth #metals
For some reason #Trump didn't see that coming, even though most of the rest of us did.
China was never going to fight with tariffs
