Tip: If you need to look up a post on X.com and already have the link, but you HATE the website (justifiably so), you can just replace X.com with "xcancel.com" in the URL.
This is a #Nitter instance, basically a frontend for X.com.
Much faster response, no forced account needed, no tracking from X.com, much lighter JS, free software (AGPLv3), no corporate bullshit. Just the posts.
Remember that X.com is owned by a literal neonazi. Stay safe.

Someone shared this on Discord with a post link to Twitter, that Elon is scrapping heuristics for Twitter, that means likes, replies and reposts will all go away, and replacing it with Grok that will read and watch every post to decide what users can and can't see, while also keeping users within the app when they view links to external sites.

Read more carefully, I didn't said what Black people should or shouldn't do on the fediverse.
I was just paraphrizing the OP's words and trying to show him the steer contraddiction of "Building Digital Ecosystems" at Google and pretending to care about other people suffering on #X/#Twitter (Black or otherwise, so racism accusation are totally pretestuous) and their relief in a decentralized platform.
Rude? Maybe.
But being rude to Google employees is nothing compared to what they enable Google to do everyday.
You can picture my post as racist to prevent people to consider the question I posed, but let be assured that if you work for Google I'll pose you the same objection whenever you pretend to care about other people and whatever your skin color or nationality.

It's been three years since I made the switch from #Twitter to the fediverse. I do not regret it at all. I've grown a lot as a person here.
I learned about my own internalized ableism. I learned that unsolicited advice is generally not a good idea. And it is totally OK to have that boundary.
I learned to be intentional and take up space.
I went from looking to get entertained by my social media fix to thinking about what kinds of tools I can make for the community.

I was on Twitter today (as “@ JoinSocialBC”) and it's just so incredibly horrible. Posts that are of any importance are absolutely inundated with mean, hateful replies. Nothing else, just that.
"influencers" posts have a dozen retweets, maybe 40 likes... even though they have tens of thousands of followers.
When you're in it, you just don't realize, but when you're out of it for awhile, you really get how insane a place it really is.
