SNSがインフラとして定着するところまで行って以来世ではすっかり忘れられてしまったけど、SNSを利用するのは「他人のサイトを間借りしている」ということなんですよね。自分が投稿したものが属するのはサイト側。
その構造自体はどのSNSでも同じなんだけど、リスクの大きさには雲泥の差があるのであって、今のXは……。特にクリエイターにとっては、創作活動上のトラブルに自ら飛び込むような結果が見えている。

Bluntly speaking the best thing people here can do is encourage as many #Twitter "refugees" (the not vile ones) as possible to stick around before a lot of them inevitably go back and we have to wait till the next screw up before trying again until it eventually becomes totally unusable.

Twitter has a new AI tool. This tool can change or edit photos of people.
This is already bad.
But it gets worse.
People found out they can ask Twitter’s AI to change a person’s photo. For example, they can ask the AI to put someone in a bikini.
The AI will do it.
Twitter’s new rules say this is allowed. This means people can now make soft NSFW images of you using AI. And Twitter says this is okay.
