Y'know I started 2 years prior to AI taking over the world by storm, but with AI slop becoming more popular, I see a truly dark, gray & dead path beyond.
I'm not scared, but I feel like I'm just walking among the dead & forgotten by continuing. The area I'm treading on is full of bots and people who may be full of enthusiasm and vigor like the ones that came before them, but sooner or later, most of them will "die". I feel like I'm stepping on the bones of ones who once lived.
It's like inheriting a graveyard of people on the internet who were once so full of life before. Half of my followers on twitch were streamers themselves. Now they're all dead, save for 1, but they've probably stopped. Last time I checked them was back in June.
I have no intention of stopping though. I'm committed to this hobby. With or without viewers, I'll chug along.

Some were chill, just some guy or gal having fun playing games while they talk with their chat. There's no mistake these people will become popular in their own niche community. There's no reason these people would quit, unless they somehow died in real life.
I saw a few of the "lively ones" slowed down to a halt, until I check back on a channel. "streamer_name last streamed 7 days ago" "some_streamer last streamed 9 months ago: It goes on and on and on, until some reached the 5th year

With that, I've seen so many "dead" streamers. They're probably not dead in real life, I know people change along with their motivations but man, their channel's way deader than mine.
It's ironic cos I remember years ago they were so full of vigor, enthusiasm, some had their chat brimmed with supportive messages, back to back subscriptions and custom emotes. They had varying amounts of viewers. Most were 2 digits, a few were 3 digits. Shared streams weren't a thing back then.
